OTIC software can be run on both Windows and Linux. In terms of outstanding features, it is able to handle lock, anti-passback, alarm handling, restricted users, arrival/departure reporting and do not disturb functions in a GDPR-compliant manner.

The system can be monitored via a real-time event list, allowing the use of unknown cards and emergency cards. A maximum of 2000 users, 40000 IDs, 250 authorisation groups can be created.

It is flexibly configurable on both the controller and software side, allowing the import and export of door profiles, departments, authorisation groups. Door time profile configuration with "Boss" open function can further enhance access control.

The great thing about OTIC is its simplicity, because compared to many other manufacturers, it has all the useful elements needed to run a small system efficiently, available for free.
