The company was founded in 1989. With its first motion sensor, it achieved significant success with its patented Auto-Pulse Signal Processing (APSP) technology. By 1996, it had released the industry's first and only family of fully digital motion sensors.

The development has not stopped: with the EVO series, integrated access management based on an encrypted, expandable bus system was introduced. In 2001, the one millionth motion sensor was sold and the award-winning MAGELLAN wireless all-in-one console was launched. The company is headquartered in the Bahamas and operates additional development, production and support centres worldwide.

The company produces in a 16 000 m2 state-of-the-art production facility.

Paradox holds more than 30 patents.
