UNIO4 is a modern IP-based transmitter and controller for monitoring and controlling stand-alone equipment that has a contact input or contact output for the purpose of providing control or status information.
When the status of the inputs changes, the device sends notifications to the users' smartphones and provides the option to send events to remote monitoring.
And with the help of control from the app, it is possible to operate the output relays remotely. Since it uses both WIFI and mobile network connections for communication, it provides reliable transmission and stable fast control. Its great advantage is that the device sends a confirmation back to the user about the control of the output relays, so it will be 100% visible that the switching has actually taken place.
Contact events can be transmitted both to the user's smartphone and to the monitoring station, so it is also suitable as a remote monitoring communicator for systems where few, but no more than 4 types of signals need to be distinguished, e.g. fire alarm systems.
Another interesting feature is that it is able to provide remote programming for intellyest devices containing a serial port (e.g. PLC or fire alarm panel) in a way that it transparently connects the monitoring program to the terminal equipment containing a serial connection.
Remote access, configuration and status information retrieval of the UNIO4 W4G version now work via the latest MQTT 5.0 protocol,
This way, its full functionality is available in a standard environment.
