Indoor detection with AVS Security
- The JET DT AM is the most versatile member of the JET family and is a product of the Italian manufacturer AVS Security. This digital indoor motion detector includes a QUAD passive infrared sensor and a 10.525 GHz radar sensor, which can operate in AND / OR connection.
Italian design, a modern flat housing and a spherical Fresnel lens provide an attractive look and full functionality. Thanks to the spherical lens, the sensor has a 90-degree field of view, a 15-metre field of view and a vision below you.
Well thought-out features
- Its primary feature is highly reliable motion detection. The JET DT AM detector features bi-directional Doppler radar technology that accurately detects real motion, filtering out false alarms. This allows the system to operate very reliably and efficiently.
Another significant feature of the sensor is its adaptive microwave noise cancellation. This advanced feature allows the sensor to intelligently detect and suppress unwanted interference, such as outdoor environmental effects or interference from other electrical equipment. This increases the stability and reliability of the system.
Thanks to temperature compensation, special signal processing algorithms and an infrared sensor with QUAD signal processing, it is highly immune to false signals.
The JET DT AM sensor also features unique Anti-Masking technology. This feature is able to detect and report masking or tampering with the lens film, preventing criminals from turning it off or otherwise circumventing it. This provides a significant advantage against potential attacks and ensures a high level of protection.
The "downward-facing" zone eliminates the blind spot below the detector, providing greater coverage of the protected area. Three LEDs (blue, amber and green) indicate the operating status of the detector (PIR, microwave, alarm).
Pet tolerance and versatility
Pet tolerance is a switchable option. You can choose between two sensitivity thresholds: 12 or 24 kg, or turn it off if you don't need it. For ease of installation, there are a few built-in resistor patterns to choose from, eliminating the need to install external resistors by selecting the right one for the control panel.
The JET DT AM digital sensor is GRADE 3 certified – thanks to the Anti-Masking function.
It can be programmed in "AND" (infrared + microwave) or "OR" (infrared or microwave detection) mode, which means that it can be used for special installation needs where, for example, only one microwave detection is required "purely". The two optional wall and ceiling brackets facilitate installation of JET.
